It is a proven fact that a power supply is a very important part of the audio path and contributes significantly to the sound quality of an audio product. To provide the opportunity to improve sound quality, we designed our linear power supply Power Box DS3 Sources. It significantly improves the sound quality of up to six Box Design components such as streamers, CD players, preamplifiers and also offers the possibility to connect a DC-powered record player.

A linear power supply consists of a solid toroidal transformer with shielding between the primary and secondary winding, which acts as an isolation transformer and prevents mains interference from entering the audio component. The built-in transformer has a much higher power reserve compared to the standard power adapter. It has a very low output impedance and in combination with a large filter capacity it can easily handle all power needs. Sound staging, darkness of silent backgrounds and resolution of small details will greatly improve and contribute to a much better overall performance of every component. Six standard connection cables are included in the delivery. Special high-end shielded connection cables in these lengths are available on request: 0.82m, 1.23m, 1.85m.

The following connection cables are supplied in the box:
2 x 9V (1.3mm jack)
3 x 18V (2.5mm jack)
1 x 15V (2.1mm jack) – to connect a DC powered Pro Connectable Ject Audio Systems turntable.*
