The Pro-Ject RPM 3 Carbon uses evolutionary improvements to improve the performance of the RPM series: a low-resonance chassis holds an inverted ceramic ball cymbal bearing, further reducing hum. The remote 15V AC motor is smoothly driven by an ultra-precise alternator with DC power supply, further improving speed stability. The 10″ S-tube arm is made of carbon fiber, aluminum and resin. Through a complex three-stage heat-treated process at 100 bar, the tonearm tube is stiffened, internal damping is maximized, and resonances are minimized. This makes the tone arm suitable for MC cartridges as well. Additional features of the tonearm are a magnetic anti-skating mechanism and a damped TPE counterweight. Includes Connect it E phono cable, 7″ single-coil adapter, power supply, hex wrench and pressure gauge.
